B48D Oil Pan Baffle 

The B48D Oil Pan Baffle is engineered to maintain stable oil pressure during long braking zones and high grip driving, making it essential for track cars and road race applications. This design has been proven through extensive testing on our own B46 powered race cars across multiple configurations and extreme conditions.

This baffle is intended for later model B48D engines which commonly appear in vehicles such as the G20 330i. However some engines have been found with either the early style or late style oil pan, so visual confirmation is important. The late model pan features a noticeable bulge on the bottom near the drain plug. If your pan does not have this bulge you will need the STROM 99.00038 baffle instead.

The late model pan corresponds to BMW part number 11138580122 and uses this baffle.

The early pan corresponds to BMW part number 11138611694 and this baffle will not work! You will need to use this baffle.
