BMW B48 Oil Pan Baffle

The BMW B48 Oil Pan Baffle is designed to maintain consistent oil pressure during long braking zones and sustained high grip driving. This baffle has been tested extensively on our own Grip E36 B48 Swap as well as Strom B46 powered race cars in multiple configurations and proven to prevent oil starvation under extreme track conditions.

This baffle generally fits early B48 engines commonly found in F30 and F22 models (which has a little more clearance for swaps as seen in our E36 Swap) and is most often used on early B48B and B46 engines. It is important to compare your oil pan to the reference photos since some engines use the later style pan.

The early style oil pan has no bulge next to the drain plug and uses this baffle. This corresponds to BMW oil pan part number 11138611694.

If you have the later style oil pan has a small bulge near the drain plug (This corresponds to BMW oil pan part number 11138580122.) then this baffle will not work! You need to use this baffle instead.
