The STROM B46 Expansion Tank Mounts are a relocation solution designed for B48 and B46 engine setups in the E46 chassis. These mounts position both the engine coolant expansion tank and the intercooler expansion tank in a clean, factory appearing layout. While intended for B48 swaps, they can be used with other engine conversions as long as they are installed in an E46.
This kit does not include the expansion tanks themselves. It is designed to work with BMW part number 17138617045 for the intercooler tank and BMW part number 17138677649 for the engine coolant tank.
Each mount arrives with the hardware already installed which makes installation fast, simple, and repeatable.
